Volunteers

Would you like to contribute to the success of the 2010 Urbanathlon events?

Volunteers play a key part in any major sports event, and the 2010 Urbanathlons will be no different. At this event there are a range of roles for people of all ages and all physical abilities, so if you don’t think you can take part as an athlete you could come and support the event in another way.

Volunteers may be required to fulfil one or more of the following roles:
• Course Marshalling
• Obstacle Marshalling
• Administration – competitor sign in, event admin
• Event Set up
• Event Take Down
• VIP Support

All volunteers will be expected to attend a pre-event briefing (date To be confirmed) at which you will receive any training necessary for the event, your event clothing (which you get to keep) and your role for the Urbanathlon. Refreshments and travel expenses will be provided for you.
