Introducing: Getting Manchester Moving's team " The Limes " Details of the team will follow shortly but more information can be gleaned from the introduction below and from their website, by following the link provided.  Getting Manchester Moving's principle project aim is: to encourage a more active lifestyle amongst people in Manchester by the delivery of a co-ordinated citywide campaign that promotes the importance and benefits of increased physical activity levels, how to address obesity issues and how to employ weight management.
The project is funded by the Football Foundation and supported by Manchester City Football Club's registered charity City in the Community, Manchester City Council and Manchester Public Health Development Service.
Getting Manchester Moving (GMM) was launched in January 2007 at the City of Manchester Stadium.
