| Manchester Urbanathlon a huge hit |

The Manchester Urbanathlon took place in the sunshine, yes you read it correctly it did not rain in Manchester! Over 900 runners took part in the 3rd Manchester Urbanathlon tackling the obstacles around iconic east Manchester. A great day for all and the best event yet.
The only downside and a big disapointment to some runners, you know who you are, was that due to the hose pipe ban the Firefighters water slide was not in operation.

Team winners will be invited back to a special event at The Manchester Climbing Centre to collect their Winners glass trophies and extra special goody bags as well as a free rock climbing session and then butties to finish off.
Glasgow is next on 19th September so get your entry in!!

Urbanathlons are multi-disciplinary, city foot races with the emphasis squarely on having fun. You can run as an individual or grab two mates and run as a team of three. Each race has more than 12 urban obstacles designed to get you sweating and smiling. Enter any of our races and you’ll be running, scrambling, climbing, dangling, wading and laughing before you know it. Each race has a different layout and course but similar fun obstacles, all set against the backdrop of iconic city centre locations. The Manchester & London events are 5k and the Scottish events are 10k, they must be tougher or madder in the highlands!
